What's a good video card?

My Husband just bought a Dell Computer back in July and he is just kicking himself for not upgrading the video card. Our anniversary is coming up and I would like to get him one. I know he wants to play fallout 3 in particular and when we were looking at them at best buy, he was looking in the 200-250$ range. I noticed he only looked at the cards that started with the number 5 and not 4. I unfortunately don't know his computer specs but I was hoping if someone can tell me what video card I can get him or at least guide me in the right direction. thanks!|||The ATI HD 5570 can play Fallout 3 and many other games at medium settings and modest resolution. The card will not stress your PC's power supply.

The cards in the $200-250 range (Geforce GTX 460 or ATI HD 5830) can play many games at highest settings and high resolution. But it will require a power supply upgrade that may cost $75 or more.|||a dell what? laptop? you cant upgrade you video card. desktop, give some more detail and we can help. BTW, 'most likely' he was looking at ATI series 5000 and the 4 can either be nvidia 400 gtx series or ati 4000 series....|||check out at eBay there are many good product at good price
