Good video card for gaming?

I am getting a Intel Core 2 duo processor and a Asus P5QC motherboard. This is all because i want to be able to play games like Crysis. I want a good video card for this. Can someone recommend one or tell me if the ASUS EAH4870 will be able to do this?|||any video card with at least 1gig is good enough for gaming, 2gigs is always better

and you also need lots of ram, at least 2gigs, or 4 if you can afford that



^_^|||i'm not sure about asus card.But you can definitely opt for nvidia cards.

cards like nvidia 8600 and lower end models of 9000 series can be used to run crysis,but if u want to get really good graphics then opt for 8800 GT or 9800 if u can afford them.

8800 is about 10k and 9800 is i think 20k,not sure. |||yeah, that should be able to run it, cysis is very graphic intense though so I'd recommend making sure you have at least 2gb of ram. also, if you can get a physics card as well and it will run seamlessly.
