What's a good video card for Oblivion for my computer?

I just got a new computer about a week ago now, and I need to get a new graphics card for it because the stock one that came with it isn't compatible with Oblivion. I really want the game to look good, at least like it does on the Xbox360. I'm pretty tech savvy, but when it comes to some of the hard ware like video cards, I tend to get lost, so here are my computer's specs:

276 GB Hard Drive

Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2220 @ 2.40GHz 2.40Ghz

RAM: 3.00 GB

System type: Windows Vista (I may be going back to XP) 32-bit Operating System

Video Card: Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family|||I highly recommend you change your PSU before anything, since I'm guessing you got a prebuilt since it has the G31 chipset. Also, I don't recommend any high-end cards since the G31 chipset only comes in PCI-e x16, not 2.0, so you won't have the bandwidth to use it to it's full potential. For the card itself, I'd say either a GTS 250 1GB(512MB if it's not widescreen) or a 4850 1GB. Any better and you will have to get a quality 500W PSU, which cost maybe $50-80 or a 600W which cost about $80+ depending on amps.|||how much are you looking to spend?

the ATI HD 4850 and Nvidia GTX 260 are both really good and will run that no problem. if you are looking to spend more, the 4870 or 4890 or the 280 or 285. less than that, Nvidia 9800 GT or 8800 GT
