Is this a good video card for left 4 dead and css?nvidia geforce 8400 512 mb 629?

building comp just making sure its good enough|||No. I would go with at least a Nvidia GeForce 9800GT. Of course, that's if you have a PCI-Express x16 slot for graphics. Make sure your power supply has enough power, or you'll need to purchase one. (This is a good, reliable one. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/… If the temperature of this Psu is kept at around 118.22 degrees Fahrenheit, {47.9 degrees Celsius}, it is capable of sustaining 728.8 WATTS!

L4D:Not on high settings.

I'd recommend the 9800 GT (1GB) if you are on a lower budget, the GTX 260 if you have more spending power.|||uhm for a 22inch screen or lower there is no need AT ALL for a gtx 260, you cant possibly use the full potential of gtx 260 unless you are playing that one stupid game crisis. left for dead is decent but nowhere near needed for gtx 260, get the 9800 gtx, thats the max you would need possibly for your kind of games, otherwise a normal 9800 gt is more than enough.|||For CS:S, yeah. For L4D...Probably not on high settings. I'd advise going with a Radeon HD4850; they give fantastic bang for your buck.
