I have a dell p4 2.6 ghz agp slot what video card to get to play stalker?

What are the recommended system requirements for the game?

AMD Athlon 64x2 4800+ or Intel Core 2 Duo, 1Gb RAM, 3D Hardware Accelerator Card Required - 100% DirectXR 9.0c compatible 256MB (Geforce 7800, for example).

What would be a good video card to get in terms of value?

|||There is only two cards you should consider...the AGP 3850...fastest on the market...or the 2600xt with gddr3....

I had a p4 2.66ghz with a 7800gs, 1.2gb ram, I could barely play bioshock, I could play bf2 almost maxxed out. It's the processor that is the bottleneck. If you only have $125ish to spend on a card than go for it, make sure you have enough amps on your 12v rail (power supply)

If you have $400-$500 you can build a budget pc that would blow your rig out of the water. Motherboard $75, processor $75, psu $50 , ram $50 , kik azz video card $100. Use your old hard drive and windows, as well as your cd drive, etc. and for $350 you'll be crushing stalker.

But if your only going for agp, get the 3850. The last fastest agp card to be made. Even P4's at 4.0ghz bottleneck this card. It's slightly slower than a 9600gt.|||You dont mention your price range and gpus go from $40 to over $500, so it makes your question pretty much impossible to answer. This site should help though.

you need to know:

1. is your slot agp or pci-e

2. the capacity of your power supply and the power rating required for the card|||SAPPHIRE 100175L Radeon X1650PRO 512MB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail
