What is a good video card for my Dell E1505 Inspiron Notebook?

I want to play the latest games in high quality, but my current card doesn't allow me to do that.|||I've also been looking at new video cards for my computer so i can play some newer games. Basically I only know GeForce. Call of Duty 4 (the newest major title i could find to be used as an example) requires at least 7800 geforce, in order to produce good results. that is if you have 2gb of RAM, and 256-512MB of video card RAM

an 8600 512MB video card is about 100$ and is perfect for your computer (if you have an available PCIe slot)|||Which card do you have in it now? I've got the ATI-based x1400 Radeon Mobility in mine, 128MB that will also grab a hunk of system memory.

Post edit: Wow! These people sure don't know modern laptops! C'mon, people! The better laptops now have actual replaceable video cards!|||Sorry, but the graphic adapter for your laptop is built into the motherboard. You cannot upgrade the video adapter in this notebook.

Laptops are generally built for portability, not performance. So they have to skimp in certain areas.

Powerful graphic cards require a big processor that puts out a lot of heat. Laptops simply cannot handle it without becoming too bulky.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.|||it's virtually impossible to install a new video card in a notebook, unless you want to go the expensive route and use an external one.. which is pointless because you won't get the gaming goodness you're looking for... if i were you, start building a desktop.
