A good video card that i can get for £100 Ati or Nvidia ?

i want to play videos (HD ) on a 24 inc samsung monitor and also games ...so any good card that i pick up for this price range £100-£130|||In that price range you should be able to pick up a Radeon HD5750/ 5770, or a gtx250 (Nvidia).

Bear in mind the Nvidia option is technically obsolete, Up to date Nvidia cards are due for release in the next month or two.

Don't forget to check the power requirements, the HD57xx series use a lot LESS power than the HD48xx and the Gtx250

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/Home/|||I would recommend you look and see if your current setup would support these cards, but around 100-130, you should get a pretty good Radeon HD 4770, Radeon HD 4850, or Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT. As for your monitor, generally the bigger the monitor, the more onboard RAM you should get.
